How do I nominate students?

Great question!

Short answer- the process is really straight forward and we guide you every step of the way. Just click this link and follow the instructions here.

Long answer-
The following process is applicable for all Individual Nominations and for some Association Team Nominations. If you are unsure of the process for Association Team Nominations, please contact your Association Delegate.

  1. While registering/renewing yourself you will be given the opportunity to register a new team.
    This 'team' is a list of ALL of your students that are being nominated for that sport this year. You should name this team after your school.

  2. Once you have created a team you will be able to invite others to join.
    This includes students you are nominating AND other teachers/staff that you would like to help manage nominations for that sport.

  3. Input their name, email address and select which NSW CIS team they are nominating for.
    If you are nominating students for different teams within the same sport (e.g. U15 boys and U18 girls) you should invite them to join your School Team.

  4. The parent/student will receive an email asking them to complete the required details.

  5. You will receive a link to manage this team where you can:

    • Check which students have completed their details

    • Remind students to complete their details

    • Edit student details

    • Add other students

    • Email students


How do I check which students I've nominated?

We get it, you have 1million things on your plate! Sometimes it's easy to forget which students you nominated already.

Once you have registered/renewed at a sport and created a team you will receive an email allowing you the opportunity to set a password and login to manage that team.

Once you select your team, you will be presented with a list of members. Important- students will only appear in this list if they have completed their form.

To see any students you have nominated, but have NOT yet provided their details, select "manage invites" from the right hand options. Here you can see the details of who you have invited.

I need to change my nominations, help!

Is one of your student unavailable to trial, do you need to add more students or did you simply enter the wrong email? No worries!

  1. Log in to the relevant sport;

  2. Select your team;

  3. If your student has already completed their details you can remove them from the team by selecting edit team, or update their details by clicking their name then selecting edit member on the right hand side.

  4. If your student has NOT completed their details, or you need to add more members select "manage invites" from the right hand options. Here you can see the details of who you have invited.

I can't access my nomination team, what's going on?

  1. Have you registered/renewed yourself and created a team for that specific sport this year?
    If no, then please do so here.

  2. If you are getting an error message when trying to log in regarding the incorrect detail, you can select forgot login details. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.

  3. Still not working? Please contact NSW CIS.


I forgot to register a team! What should I do?

If you managed to register/renew but forgot to register a new team that's OK! Just get in touch with your Association Delegate or the Convenor. They can create a team for you and make you a Team Official. You will then be able to log in and manage invites to nominate your students.
