CIS Team
At the end of the selection trials 10 students will be named in the CIS Team. The CIS Team will go on to compete at the NSWPSSA Girls Basketball Championships. Selected students are to remain briefly to meet with team management and try on uniform. There will be some costs associated with competing at this level, a levy and the purchase of uniform. As a guide in 2018 if players needed to purchase all mandatory uniform items the cost was $251 plus a player levy (admin costs, officials costs, photos, team entry) of $230 for the Championship. This levy varies from year to year, depending on where the Championships are held and the costs involved. In 2019 the PSSA Girls Basketball Championship will be held in Albury.

Officials
There is a pathway for secondary students that would like to referee at the NSWPSSA Basketball Championships, and if selected, at the SSA Championships. Students need to be nominated as a referee to attend the CIS Primary Basketball trials so that they can be assessed/ selected to accompany the CIS Team. The trial ensures that the student has the ability to referee at the PSSA level.
