Please Note: This is a NSW All Schools Championship Event - view the official Event Page HERE.

Change to Event

The NSW All Schools Triathlon will now be held as a duathlon. There will be no swim leg due to poor water quality.

NSW All Schools Triathlon Individual Event – now duathlon on the day with submitted swim time. Competitors will commence with a 750 metre run to transition and then complete the advertised bike and run distance.

School Sport Australia Triathlon Qualification

Athletes wishing to be considered for selection in the NSW All Schools Team for the School Sport Australia Triathlon Championships will need to submit a 400m swim time from a recognised swimming event by the conclusion of the triathlon event. Recognised swimming times should be submitted prior to or on the day of the triathlon event.

See here for Google form link to submit 400m time: Swim Time Submission.

Teams will be selected based on the accumulative times of the submitted 400m swim and the duathlon event. Selectors may also consider any athlete who is unable to submit a swim leg time within the allocated time period (by the end of the Triathlon event).

Results that will be considered for discretionary places will be:

  • Swim leg from an approved Triathlon event in the last 12 months, up to and including NSW All Schools Triathlon in 2023 (Wednesday 21 February, 2023).
  • Confirmed results from School swimming carnivals
  • Hand-timed 400m swim result from an accredited coach
