2025 NSWCIS Secondary Swimming & Diving Championships

The 2025 NSWCIS Secondary Swimming & Diving Championships will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 May 2025. 

Please read through the following information carefully. 

Venue Entry

Championship Entry and Exit will be through the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, General Entry only. The Mouse Hole Entry will not be open.

Entry: 4:30pm

Warm Up: 5:00pm

Clear Pool: 5:45pm

Commences: 6:00pm

Concludes: 9:30pm

Session 2 | Tuesday 6 May

Entry: 7:30am

Warm Up: 8:00am

Clear Pool: 8:45am

Commences: 9:00am

Concludes: 4:00pm

N.B. All times are an approximation only and will not be accepted as a reason for any competitor missing their event. Alteration is at the discretion of the Championship Manager should circumstances arise.

Please ensure the directions for Warm-Up are followed, as outlined in the Warm-Up Allocations Guide.

Live Streaming

The CIS Secondary Swimming Championships will be live streamed through Sideline Sports. To view the Live Stream - CLICK HERE 


If you do not give permission for your child to be live streamed, please contact CIS. 

This can also be indicated on the Online Nomination form which parents complete prior to the event. 

Schools/Associations must notify CIS of any students that they are aware of that are not to be live streamed. 

Merchandise & Apparel

On the Day

CIS Merchandise & Apparel will also be available for purchase on the day of the event from the CIS Uniform provider, Valour.

Contactless payment only - no cash.

Please note: All times are approximate. 

Swimming Start Lists and Diving Event Entries have been loaded on the respective event pages on the CIS website. These will continue to be updated as changes are submitted by Associations:

Closer to the event, the most up to date Swimming Start Lists will be available on Meet Mobile.

Results from the Swimming Championships will also be available on Meet Mobile. 

Results from both the Swimming and Diving Championships will be loaded to the respective Sport pages on the CIS Website in the week following the event.

Additional Championship Information

Student Name Format (Swimming): Please be advised that the competitors name that appears in the Start Lists must be in the same format as how the name appears in Results Central. Please contact your Association Delegate/Team Manager should this require updating. 

Parking: Parking is available in the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre Car Park.

First Aid: First Aid is provided by Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. 

Dress: Swimmers must fall in line with FINA rules and requirements regarding swimming gear. Association caps must be worn - this includes both Individual and Relay events. 

Food & Drink: There will be food concessions available on day. Competitors are advised to bring their own food and drink with them. 

Assigned Seating Areas: Please ensure you are seated in the area designated to your Association only. View MAP.

Spectators: Spectators are encouraged to stay in the grandstand area. NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED IN the MARSHALLING AREA or ON POOL DECK, including the Warm Up Area. Officials have been allocated to supervise the Warm Up Area. 

Coaches: Coaches who wish to access the Pool Deck MUST follow the guidelines listed below:

  1. Bring Accreditation to the event;
  2. Check In to the Results & Recording Room to complete registration and receive wrist band;
  3. Wear wrist band at all times and remain in the designated Coach Area when on Pool Deck.

Protests: Any protests must follow the Protest Procedure come through the Association Team Manager only. 

Marshalling for Relays: Only the lead off swimmer from each relay team is to go to the marshalling area. The remaining swimmers are to go directly to their lanes. 

NSW All Schools Swimming Championships: Will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May, 2025. Swimmers who are selected to the CIS Swim Team must report to the Shane Gould Room to register for the NSW All Schools Championships, purchase uniform and pay the levy of $65.00. 

Secondary Swimmers selected to compete at NSW All Schools who withdraw without a medical certificate after 5pm, Thursday 8 May will incur a fine of $15.00 and may not be considered for further selection. Changes at the NSW All Schools Championships due to illness or injury will be at the discretion of the Team Managers. 

Please direct withdrawals to sport@cis.nsw.edu.au by 5pm, Thursday 8 May. 

NSW All Schools Diving Championships: Will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May, 2025. Divers who are selected to the CIS Dive Team must report to the Shane Gould Room to register for the NSW All Schools Championships, purchase uniform and pay the levy of $65.00. 

All divers who participate at the CIS Championships should be available for selection in the CIS Team. If this is not the case, schools should be notified so that they can inform CIS prior to the Championships. Selections are based on the first 3 places per event. All CIS medallists must submit NSW All Schools dives to Diving Convenor, Mrs Chris Lang, at the CIS Championships. 

2025 CIS Secondary Swimming Additional Event Successful List

The students from CIS who have been selected to attend the 2025 NSW All Schools Championships based on the Additional Event Entries will be available to view on the CIS Swimming Page by the CIS Secondary Swimming Championships.

These students will be required to report to the Shane Gould Room on the day of the CIS Championships (if at the Championships for other events) to register, purchase their uniform and pay the levy.

Alternatively, these students will receive instructions to complete this online, following the CIS Championships. 

Please note: Reserves will not be required to register unless called into the team, pending verification. 

Withdrawals should be made via your Association Team Manager at the CIS Championships, or by 5pm, Thursday 8 May 2025 to sport@cis.nsw.edu.au

2025 NSW All Schools 100M Form Stroke Nomination Process

ATTENTION:

Whilst there are some 100M form stroke multi-age events within the 2025 NSWCIS Secondary Swimming program, these events will NOT be used to determine the Swimmers moving through the pathways to NSW All Schools - the CIS Team for 2025 in the 100M form strokes will only be selected from paper nominations
