Trials Time
8:30am (Check-in for a 9.00am Start) - 3:00pm
 

Trial Format

  • Format for the day - Round Robin Pools- Match Play and Play offs.
  • Each match to consist of best of 9 games with a tie break at 4-4.
  • Cross pool matches will be played to decide the final positions.

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

The King's School: No spectators on site. Parents, relatives and friends of participants must drop off participants, not remain on site and return at the end of the session.


Drop-off and Pick-up

  • Drop-off and Pick-up  will take place near the courts...Parents and Guardians will not be permitted to leave their vehicles. Please respect any signage and/or directions in relation to parking near the courts and elsewhere in the school grounds

 

First Aid

  • The Convenor will have basic First Aid available for minor injuries or illness
  • Emergency Services will be called in the case of a serious injury or illness


Dress
Boys are to wear their Association Tennis uniform. If the association does not have a uniform they are to wear their school tennis uniform. This should be a neat polo shirt and shorts. No T Shirts are to be worn and proper footwear must be used

  • Caps/Visors/ Sunhats and sunscreen should be worn


Food & Drink
Students are to provide their own recess, lunch and sufficient drinks to last throughout the day
 

CIS Team
A CIS Secondary Boys Tennis team of 8 will be named at the conclusion of the day. These players will be required to remain for a short period of time at the conclusion of the day to speak with CISTeam Managment. Expenses associated with competing at the next level include a player levy of approximately $100 (covers administration costs, officials costs, photos, team entry) and mandatory uniform items costing approximately $130.

Wet Weather
In the case of wet weather check the website after 7am for any news of alternate arrangements.
